ACTIVE NOISE MONITORING | NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS 'WILD GOD TOUR'

BRIEF

Waveform Acoustics was engaged as the acoustic consultant to undertake active noise monitoring and prepare post‑event acoustic reporting for the Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds “Wild God Tour”, held at Alexandra Gardens across three consecutive nights

SOLUTION

Attended noise monitoring and fixed‑position logging were conducted at locations selected to represent conditions at the nearest noise‑sensitive receivers. Monitoring positions were confirmed following predictive noise modelling and on‑site verification to ensure accurate assessment of event‑related noise impacts.

RESULT

A strong overall noise‑compliance outcome was achieved across all three nights. Despite varying weather conditions, the acoustic team successfully maintained control of sound levels through real‑time monitoring, responsive communication, and proactive level management.
